January 2026
Dear Friend of AMAE,
The Association of Mexican American Educators (AMAE), Fresno Chapter, is preparing for its Annual Scholarship Fundraising Season. The proceeds from this campaign will benefit the Student Scholarship Fund for the 2026 academic year.
Each year, AMAE proudly recognizes distinguished Fresno County educators and awards twenty to thirty $1,000 scholarships to underrepresented, college-bound students. We respectfully invite you to support our efforts by becoming a donor to this meaningful cause.
All contributors will be acknowledged at our Annual Scholarship Banquet, which is attended by approximately 300 to 500 guests. Your generosity enables AMAE to continue providing educational opportunities and promoting academic excellence among the youth of Fresno County.
In addition, AMAE is laying the groundwork for an AMAE – CSU Fresno Endowed Fund that will allow us to sustain student scholarships in perpetuity. We invite you to join us in this visionary initiative by contributing today.
AMAE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Federal Identification Number is 92-0413878. Contributions are tax deductible as permitted by law.
Sincerely,
Leonard Carrillo and Ed Ponce
